Requirements for Services

  • All dogs must be evaluated before enrolling in daycare or Boarding.

  • All shot records Must be up-to-date and on file with Best Little Hound House in Texas prior to any scheduling. Dog owner is responsible for making sure Best Little Hound House in Texas receives vet records before scheduling. You can email to houndhouse.info@gmail.com

  • Bordetella (6 months)

  • Yearly Rabies & Distemper/Parvo are required. Canine Influenza is highly recommended.

  • Flea and Tick prevention (Flea collars do not meet facility requirements).

  • All dogs must be at least 4 months old and meet all vaccine requirements.

  • All dogs 8 months and older must be spayed or neutered for entry into group play areas. Grooming is the only exception, dogs will not be allowed into play group areas.

  • Any dogs over 8 months that are not spayed or neutered must stay in our private room accommodation (see pricing and details for Canine Condo above).

  • Reservations must be made through phone 430-625-7272

  • We do not accept social media for reservation request or for booking confirmation.

  • All dogs must be held or on a leash in the lobby for their safety and for others. If on a retractable lead it must be on a short lock (max 6’)

  • No dog to dog greetings in the lobby for the safety of all dogs, owners and facility staff.

  • We provide comfortable beds, cots and blankets for Bungalow and Condo accommodations. Please no toys or chew bones. We are not responsible for any lost personal belongings.

  • Operating Hours

Monday – Friday 7:00am – 7:00pm

Saturday & Sunday we are closed to the public (No Check-in/Check-out)

Please allow time for the staff to feed and clean prior to opening, we cannot accommodate early or late check-ins.

  • Checkout after 12:00 pm will result in a $20.00 daycare fee per pet.

  • All reservations require full payment at time of scheduling to secure booking. Cancellation less than 7 days prior to arrival date will result in loss of payment, no refunds will be issued. No refunds are issued for early check-outs. These polices help us to maintain the most accurate availability.
